Our client, a Design & Build main contractor, needed expert support at the tender stage for a high-level design of mechanical & electrical services. This was crucial for achieving cost certainty when submitting their bid. Calmor was chosen for this significant project, valued at £2 million, due to our proven experience in similar ventures. The project encompassed a design phase of 3 months and a construction phase of 12 months.

Our involvement began with producing a detailed mechanical and electrical design from a Stage 2 performance specification. We quickly developed tender drawings for M&E subcontractors, which our client used to formulate a competitive and winning bid. Following the project award, Calmor completed a detailed, fully coordinated design and model for installation. Our efficient approach at the tender stage and during the detailed design phase was instrumental in keeping the project on schedule.
